There are strong environmental reasons for incorporating water efficient design into hotels, but does it make sense from a business perspective?
The new Roca CPD entitled Specifying Water Efficient Design for the Hotel Industry looks at the issues of global water scarcity and its impact on the hotel industry, identifying strategies and processes required on a hotel project to achieve a holistic approach to water management. Through best practice case studies, this CPD aims to demonstrate practical steps designers and architects can take at the design, construction and operational stages to reduce a hotel's strain on local water resources, without impacting the level of guest satisfaction.
