Designs From the Past, Inspiration for the Future (02/11) 2nd November 2018
Minotti London invites interior designers to learn more about the art
procurements and inclusion process in the context of residential,
hospitality and commercial projects.
Contemporary art consultant and long-time Minotti London collaborator Katherine Maginnis, will use her years of experience to share the most important aspects of the art specification, commissioning and procurement process, as well as how it adds value to any project.
Learning objectives: This CPD presentation provides guidance to
interior designers about how to use art more effectively as part of the
interior design process. Encourages designers to consider
including artists in the design process, for the right project, to
create unique site-specific commissions. Informs designers
of the multitude of mediums available to clients and illustrates the
breadth of artists’ conceptual abilities to create functional artwork,
including room separators. It also explores the differentials
between the established art services available.
