Job description:

  • Be a creative, innovative thinker. Ability to ‘think outside the box’ and to communicate ideas through a variety of methods including verbal, written, hand sketching and technical drawings
  • To withhold a global perspective on design
  • Experienced in working with high net worth individuals and to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire design process, including aftercare. You will be client facing and must be confident conveying schemes and liaising with clients and client reps.
  • Experienced in being involved in the full design process, from concept to aftercare. Experience liaising with Architects, CAD Technicians, Lighting Designers and other specialists throughout the design process. You must be a team player with a willingness and enthusiasm to collaborate
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to work on and oversee several projects at any given moment and to keep track of your time on time-keeping software
  • The role will also include overseeing and mentoring Junior Designers
  • Site experience including liaising with contractors and snagging
  • Establish and maintain supplier relations by attending design fairs and events, hosting meetings and visiting supplier showrooms
  • Be well presented with excellent written and verbal English
  • Experienced in managing multi-million pound FF&E budgets
  • Experienced in budget planning, procurement and liaising with the accountant and suppliers on all FF&E orders. You will also be responsible for overseeing the delivery and installation of all goods
  • Experienced in designing bespoke furniture, fabrics and lighting
  • Understanding of fine art and art history is an asset, as many of our clients have art collections that must be incorporated into the interior schemes


  • Post-secondary education in Interior Design
  • Experience in working in the interior design industry, including experience in high-end residential and commercial design in London, UK
  • Management experience
