Eligibility Criteria

Students studying courses in interior design or interior architecture

The BIID offers free membership to students as an introduction to the activities of the organisation. This provides an excellent opportunity for dialogue with members of the Institute and to be a part of the interior design community. 

Membership is open to those undertaking an accredited interior design course (degree, diploma, professional certificate or professional-level home study) and membership is for the year or length of your course. The course must comprise of at least 200 hours of study.

On completion of the course the BIID will provide one additional year free student membership to support students in finding a role in interior design. 

Application Process

Applicants are required to complete the online application form and include details of their education, including their provider and expected course completion date.

 Membership Fees

Student membership is free for the duration of study, plus an additional year once their studies have completed.
