Junior Designer / Project Administrator

Job description

We are looking to find an enthusiastic, experienced and very organised, Junior Designer / Project Administrator who can help support the design team on a wide variety of projects in the UK and abroad.

 

The Role

Will be mainly based in our Hungerford head office but travel to London and elsewhere will be required on a regular basis.

General and administrative support for the designers in executing their ideas

Assisting the designers to put together presentations and digital mood boards

In putting data for all estimates

Fluent in CAD

Attending site and client visits

Sourcing and creating hardware specs.

Liaising with clients.

Communicating with contractors and suppliers

Skills and Experience

Minimum of two years experience at a design studio

Translate design concepts into detailed presentations and supporting documentation

IT literate – knowledge and fluent in Estimac and CAD

Excellent written and communication skills

Driving Licence – as travel will be essential

Proactive, flexible and have good initiative

Happy to support all administrative aspects of the design process

Natural creative instinct, but highly efficient and organised

Confident in liaising with clients and prioritising

Share our design vision and aesthetic and be committed to attention to detail

Willingness to work in a support role as well as have own initiative

Happy to travel
