Job description

Hollaway Studio is hiring a Junior Interior Designer to join its London team.


We are looking for an enthusiastic key member of the team who will be working closely with the Lead Interior Designer, but also with the Architectural Team across a broad range of projects, from high-end residential to creative hospitality spaces. You will be expected to take on a variety of roles, while learning and developing your skills while supporting the team's designers.


Our studios are located in Kings Cross and Kent, and they are an open and enjoyable place to work. The role is for a position in the London Studio, however you may be required to be flexible and work within and across both Studios. 



  • BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture/Design or similar
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite/AutoCAD/SketchUp
  • Strong free-hand sketching abilities
  • Skilled in 3D modelling to produce visuals
  • Enthusiastic & willing to learn
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Awareness of innovative interior design sectors


You will be expected to:

  • Produce rough sketches, gather precedent materials & produce mood boards
  • Choose appropriate materials for the design and budget
  • Source samples
  • Place orders with manufacturers and suppliers
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the design team
  • Assist the Studio with the production of other supporting information for the wide range of monthly projects
