Project 1 London Town House
thatched roof cottage designed by James M. MacLaren in need of a complete
refurbishment to use as a hideaway from city life.
An old low chest with the addition of a soft moss green linen seat cushion with contrast piping.
Wool plaid cushions, a heavy textured rug and a beautiful William Yeoward linen print add to the ‘snugness’.
The neighbouring listed cottage’s snow covered thatched roof can be seen through the window, refurbished with black ironmongery.
A new woodburning stove was installed within the stone fireplace.
The galley kitchen was handbuilt maximizing every nook and cranny.
The bijoux bathroom was kept light and white with a splash of colour from the glass surface of the vanity top.
