1970’s Comfortable minimalism

We have already helped redesign a number of rooms for our clients in their compact but much-extended 1970’s family home in a sought-after area of Birmingham.  The existing kitchen, dining, and utility areas were created over the years as the result of three previous extensions, and needed a complete re-think.  By changing some of the door and window access points, repositioning beams and repositioning two walls, we managed to create a much more usable, practical and open space, which flows more naturally and now also incorporates a small relaxing and reading area
