Paul has ten years professional experience in Architectural Practice and has been involved in a number of projects across a variety of sectors, including education, pharmaceutical, aviation, R&D and residential.
Whilst working in practice he studied part time at the Birmingham School of Architecture achieving an honors degree in Architecture in 2009, a Master’s degree in Architecture in 2012 and finally the Post Graduate Diploma in Architectural Practice in 2014, and was subsequently accepted as a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2014.
Paul’s expertise lies in the analysis of complex functions and creation of robust design solutions which respond elegantly to the client’s aspirations. Paul has taken on numerous Architectural/Lead Consultant responsibilities and more recently Project Architect Roles for a number of projects ranging from a £100K reception refurbishment for a prestigious science facility, through to the £190M redevelopment of Gatwick’s new Pier One.
Prior to joining Rigby & Rigby Paul was heavily involved in the development of in-house Building Information Modelling, highlighting the opportunities of BIM and developing project/ practice specific procedures and protocols for implementation in live project environments.
Paul is a keen fisherman and enjoys walking, golf and visiting National Trust properties throughout the UK.
