The design project focused on creating a serene sanctuary that harmonised with its rural and historic castle surroundings. Tailored to an art-collecting client, the interior featured neutral, warm finishes to accentuate art pieces and incorporated light, airy spaces influenced by the client's time in Hong Kong. Asian design elements and family artifacts were integrated, reflecting the client's global travels. Communication through virtual meetings and a strategic day of selection at Chelsea Harbour ensured the client’s direct involvement. The layout was restructured for better flow, and eco-friendly, sustainable practices were prioritised, including local sourcing and efficient energy use. The design successfully delivered a personalised, calming space that exceeded the client's expectations.
