Project: Cotswold Manor

Size: 500 sq m

Photographer: Paul Craig

Region: Midlands and East Anglia

Project Summary:

The restoration of a 19th-century manor house primary fully combined historical allure with modern necessities. The design aimed to create a family home with top-notch guest accommodations and entertainment features, integrating innovative spaces like a hidden granary bar and a snug behind a jib door. Efforts were made to retain architectural elements while introducing modern functionality, such as reconfiguring spaces and enhancing usability in areas like the kitchen and principal suite. The decor reflected the client’s Swedish heritage and art appreciation, using light neutrals and bold accents. Sustainability was key, with a focus on reusing materials and supporting local craftsmanship. The project resulted in a home that successfully blended tradition with contemporary comfort and style, meeting the client's detailed requirements.
