OUR STORY
In 2017, Daniel Lee needed brass taps for a project. Unlacquered raw brass, with an almost industrial look, designed to age naturally over time. They didn't exist.So he made them himself.
A photographer friend shared images online. Enquiries started coming in from architects and designers who wanted the same thing. Studio Ore wasn't planned as a company. But it became one, on one condition: never compromise on quality.
Today, Studio Ore works with architects, designers and homeowners worldwide. Every piece is made to order at our workshop in northern Italy. Solid brass, finished by hand, born in small batches.
A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
"From the start, the goal was to do this properly. Not at scale. Not chasing margin. Just trying to make brassware the way it should be made.
"That meant small batches, finished by hand, in our own workshop. It meant working directly with the people who specify us, with no middlemen in the way. And it meant taking the harder route on quality, every time, even when there was a cheaper one.
"We're not interested in cutting corners. The pieces we make are designed to last, in how they're built and how they hold up to use. That's the only standard worth working to."
