Rumi Bunya Design is an architecture-led interior design studio creating thoughtful, individual homes. Each project begins with curiosity and collaboration, resulting in spaces that feel considered, authentic and genuinely connected to the people who live in them.

Rumi's perspective has been shaped by an international life across Japan, Los Angeles, London and the wider UK. Growing up in Japan has had a lasting influence on the way she thinks about space — from efficiency and thoughtful organisation to balance, practicality and the relationship between a home and everyday wellbeing. These principles inform the way she designs rather than defining a particular aesthetic; every interior responds individually to its architecture, setting and inhabitants.
