Cindy de Vos

Cindy de Vos is an interior designer and founder of Sid & Betty Ltd, based in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. A graduate of the Inchbald School of Design with an MA in Architectural Interior Design, she specialises in the sensitive restoration and reimagining of historic English country houses, alongside carefully considered residential interiors.

Her work is grounded in close observation and in “listening to buildings”—respecting their architecture, material history and patterns of use while creating interiors that feel layered, personal and entirely liveable.

Cindy works collaboratively with clients, craftspeople, makers and specialist suppliers, directing projects from early concept and spatial planning through bespoke joinery, decoration, lighting, furniture and final installation.

Her recent practice includes the long-term transformation of a significant Cotswold manor house, bringing together historic fabric, contemporary comfort and exceptional British craftsmanship.
