Melanie Barnes

Melanie Barnes founded Brighton-based Elixir Interior Design in 2012 after graduating from Brighton Met College (NCFE Interior Design Levels 1, 2 and 3) and has been designing homes ever since.  Working locally, Elixir Interior Design specialises in high-end residential period home design (including Grade II listed), to carefully balance modern living with the unique integrity of these special buildings. 

Melanie and the team can help with any aspect of your design project, from design-only projects, to furniture sourcing/procurement, to full-on project co-ordination.  We are approachable and take pride in our clear reliable communication and financial transparency in every project we undertake. 

Understanding and articulating our clients' dream interiors and bringing them to life is our USP.   We listen and learn how our clients would like their homes to look and function, to create beautifully practical design schemes which are elegant, chic and stylish.
