Melanie Barnes founded Elixir Interior Design in Brighton in 2013. The studio specialises in high-end residential and boutique hospitality interiors, with particular expertise in period and listed properties.

Working across Brighton & Hove and central London, Elixir offers a comprehensive interior design service, creating characterful, considered interiors that respect the architecture and history of a property while bringing a fresh, contemporary perspective.

The studio also offers a turnkey interior design service for clients seeking a fully managed home, including overseas owners who require their property to be designed, furnished and ready to enjoy.

Recent projects include Regency Square Suites, a Grade II* listed Regency townhouse in Brighton transformed into ten individually designed luxury suites, alongside residential projects in Brighton, Hove and London. Melanie’s work has appeared in The Times and 25 Beautiful Homes.
