Profile

Most people think they're commissioning a kitchen. What they're actually doing is making a decision about how they'll live for the next twenty years. That's the conversation I want to have.

I'm Elizabeth Pantling-Jones, a BIID Registered Interior Designer and co-founder of Lima Kitchens, an independent studio I've run since 2006. We specialise in kitchens, ground-floor renovations, and bedroom and dressing room investments. Projects where interior design, interior architecture, and full build management work together as one joined-up process.

My particular focus is on designing for how life actually changes: accessibility, multigenerational living, ageing populations, and longevity. Not as a niche, as good design practice. A space should work as well in twenty years as it does today. That thinking runs through every project we take on, from the first conversation to the final photograph.

We take on complex work; listed buildings, structural reconfigurations, multi-room schemes and manage every element of it. Our clients are busy people making a significant investment in their home. Their time is valuable, the process is stressful enough, and the decisions are too important to leave to chance. We coordinate everything, so they don't have to.

Outside the studio, I judge for the KBSA Awards and am a regular panellist on the KBB Review podcast. I am the founder and host The Home Improvement Podcast because I believe the industry has a responsibility to help homeowners make better decisions, not just sell to them.

Lima Kitchens has been recognised consistently in industry awards over the past decade. I

During 2026 we will be  opening our second studio in the coaching town of Towcester.
