Et Lorem

Et Lorem is an award winning independent kitchen specialist, dedicated to creating beautiful kitchen and living spaces, for interior designers, homeowners and boutique developers. 

We believe the kitchen really is the identity of the home. It’s a truly honest, personal space that, when designed specifically for the owner, will create an expressive statement. No individual or family is the same, so we pride ourselves in reflecting individual lifestyles and personality, in our designs.

Our 4000sq ft studio in Reading, recently announced as a finalist in the KBB Review Retail & Design Awards, allows plenty of room for browsing the 11 roomsets alongside inspirational sample spaces, appliances and must-have accessories. The kitchen displays range from industrial to traditional, outdoor to painted, textured timber to pastel, and everything between.

Created to take you and your clients on a design and imagination journey - Upon entering, you’ll find us in our loft-style office; with crittall glass, brick walls, sawn timbers and herringbone floors. Then, as you tour the studio, the space transitions through different kitchen styles, including all the appliances, flooring, walling, and more, that you will ever need.

Being independent means that we are able to work with a design-led approach. We are not bound by the limitations of a single product line, which means we can be completely guided by what will work best, for each individual project. Your vision comes first, always.

We are a team of 13, with a wide range of expertise, who are all equally passionate about design, customer service and  nurturing long-lasting relationships.

Through our knowledge and many years working in Berkshire, the home-counties and across London, we have become experts and educators in our field. We have developed a deep understanding of our clients and the surrounding  architecture which contributes to creating unrivalled kitchens and living spaces.

Sustainability 

Consideration of sustainability is at the forefront of how Et Lorem operates. We work with brands that share our vision and we are constantly seeking new ways to reduce our impact on the environment; both in the way we work and the materials we use within our designs.

We are partnered with sustainability expert Eight Vera, who are guiding us on our journey to becoming carbon neutral by 2025. As a business we are committed to a goal of becoming Net Zero by 2030.
