Katherine Strachan Davis

Katherine creates distinctively unique interiors that balance tradition with modernity: blending contemporary comfort, classical refinement, and individuality. Accomplished in designing interiors for properties throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians she specialises in principally private residential interiors.

She has a clear understanding of where interior design and architecture intersect and will always consider every element of a home. Balancing function, spatial arrangements, and historic building fabric in creating vibrant interior schemes, she inspires clients to fall in love with the possibilities offered by their heritage and listed properties.

Originally trained in architecture Katherine focusses on residential interior design and interior architecture. Previously, for eight years she co-managed an Edinburgh design and construction company specialising in residential refurbishments where she led projects from concept design stage, through to installation as well as coordinating teams of up to thirty staff and trades, and subcontractors to bring projects to life on site.

Katherine trained in Edinburgh, Munich, and Copenhagen and is inspired by fine art, food, dance, and nature’s colour scheme. With over twenty year's experience she possesses a flair and a passion for integrating period architecture with classical and contemporary interiors.
