Nicky Mudie

Violet & George was founded in 2009 by Nicky Mudie, following a decade of experience in the interior design industry and a lifelong passion for textiles, craftsmanship, and considered, luxury design. With a deep-rooted understanding of soft furnishings and decorative arts, Nicky established the studio to offer beautifully tailored interiors with soul and personality.

Nicky studied Textile Design at art college before completing a degree in the History of Art & Design at Leeds University. She apprenticed under Daniel Hopwood at his West London studio, then spent seven years as Head Designer at Godrich Interiors, where she played a key role in building and shaping the studio.
