Gordon Leney

Founding Partner of GLSTUDIO, Gordon Leney is an architect and interior designer with twenty-five years experience in both fields. He applies a design approach that blurs the boundaries between the disciplines, and has worked in a number of sectors including private residential, cultural, workplace and hospitality.
Gordon Studied at the University of London, Chelsea College of Art and Design and The Royal College of Art and was visiting lecturer in the department of Interior Design at Chelsea College of Art and design for ten years.
Gordon established GLSTUDIO in order concentrate particularly on the private residential market. The studio adopts a holistic approach to architecture and interiors, celebrating the re-use and re-invention of existing buildings. By exposing the layers of a site’s historical use, we apply a sensitivity to issues of heritage, whilst overlaying a rigorous contemporary aesthetic.
Our approach is collaborative and analytical, delivering non-formulaic solutions which underpin our clients’ aspirations and restore a sense of authenticity and meaning to the buildings they inhabit.
