The
brief was to transform a large and sparsely furnished property by building on
the clients’ collection of contemporary art with a much broader range of
furniture, art and lighting. Our intention was to unify the eclectic styles and
create a feeling of cohesion throughout the different spaces and levels, whilst
still maintaining an international flair. Eye-catching pieces were introduced
from new artists and sculptors, sourced from European galleries, art fairs and
artisans’ studios, creating a visual feast of shapes, lines and colours linking
the expanse of areas. The large triptych canvas was commissioned from an artist
in St Petersburg, whilst bespoke cabinets were designed for the open-plan
kitchen-diner.
