Lucy Winters-Underwood

Lucy gained a First-Class Honours Degree in Interior Architecture and Design. Shortly after graduating, she discovered that her true passion lay in Interior Design, with a particular interest in sensitively restoring heritage and period properties.

With more than a decade of experience in the High-End Interior Design market, including demanding and ambitious projects across the UK, Europe, and Asia, Lucy went on to establish her own studio: Lucy Winterwood Interior Design.

Lucy specialises in subtle, timeless luxury, creating homes that feel warm, inviting and beautifully considered. Each project is tailored to the personality and lifestyle of the client, crafting designs that reflect their character and memories rather than imposing a fixed ‘house style’. Resulting in spaces that are deeply personal. 

Projects range from single-room redecoration to full turnkey home renovations. Covering every stage of the process: from space planning and concept development to sourcing materials and furnishings, over-seeing contractors, installation, and adding the finishing touches.

The studio is based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, serving clients across Hertfordshire, North London, and the surrounding areas.
