Craig Barnsdale

Craig Barnsdale is the Director and co-founder of StudioTwenty Limited, a Nottingham-based interior design studio specialising in high-end residential and commercial projects. Since its founding eight years ago, StudioTwenty has built a reputation for delivering refined, detail-driven interiors that balance contemporary elegance with functional design.

Craig brings over 18 years of industry experience, including a decade as Head of Retail Development at Sports Direct (now Frasers Group), where he played a key role in evolving the brand’s retail identity across its portfolio. This commercial grounding informs his strategic approach to spatial planning and user-focused environments.

At the heart of Craig’s design ethos is a commitment to creating beautiful spaces that work—spaces that are not only visually compelling but also deeply attuned to how people live and interact within them. Notable projects include the transformation of Riber Castle, a historic UK landmark, into 26 luxury apartments—preserving its heritage while giving it new life—and a private residential project in Edwalton, shortlisted for a BIID Award in 2025.
