No ordinary flooring company, Solid Floor is characterised by creativity, commitment and craftsmanship. Founded in Amsterdam in 1994, and established in London since 1997, we specialise in bespoke flooring, offering quality timber, all custom-made to the most exacting specifications.

Our bespoke, hand-finished timber floors impart character, warmth and elegance to any room. We go to great lengths to create the exact flooring style and finish for our clients, be it boards or parquet, rustic or contemporary, textured or smooth, using a wide variety of specialist, handcrafted techniques.

We know the beauty of a timber floor depends upon the expertise with which it's fitted and maintained. Our expert installation team apply their specialist skills and experienced eyes to every project we undertake. They are masters at installing flooring in complex room layouts and over underfloor heating, as well as incorporating acoustic solutions.

We work closely with many of the UK's leading architects and interior designers, and have established a solid reputation as London's premier flooring specialist. You can bring your clients to our WEST showroom in Marylebone or our EAST showroom in Spitalfields to browse our extensive collection of sample boards. Equally, we can visit your studio for a presentation and to discuss your next flooring projects.
