The tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah island is known for glitzy hotels, posh apartment towers and upmarket global restaurants and the Atlantis is the ‘Jewel in the Crown’.

The first resort to open on the man-made island, the Atlantis is huge and spans an area equivalent to 64 Wembley stadiums, including its own waterpark and shopping mall.

Interfloor were proud to supply 60,000 sqm of our Tredaire Defender Underlay installed into the guest rooms and corridors of the resort.

Defender was chosen for the project for its supreme versatility, with the sponge rubber giving a luxury feel underfoot, but also being  durable enough to withstand the heavy footfall, with an End Use Classification (BS 5808: 1991: HC/U) of Heavy Contract Use.
