Carden Cunietti were hired by Value Retail Ltd in 2017 to design the luxury VIP apartment at Bicester Village as part of their extension to the hugely popular Outlet shops in Oxfordshire. The brief was to create a comfortable country house feel where guests can relax after a day of shopping. We used heavy textured natural materials such as barnwood, rough natural linens and stones and a colour palette drawn from nature to recreate a traditional English manor house in the Chiltern hills but with a twist.
