This apartment is in a “Post Modern” building in Chelsea with few internal architectural features. The brief, which the client gave to Cecilia, was to make a warm, comfortable home, also a setting for contemporary pictures. By re-arranging the lay-out, space was found to make a Dining Room and a Study. The Dining Room is papered in silver and hand painted with purple vines, and the Study is walled and curtained in apricot paisley fabric. A Four-Post bed and 19C tapestry pictures make the large Master Bedroom a comfortable and inviting room.
