There was a shortage of coat hanging space in this rented property so to solve the problem, Sarah studied the dimensions of many many coat racks and eventually found one to fit this spare corner in the cloakroom. She also reframed the client's power station picture which is reflected in the mirror, giving it a new lease of life.

This loo needed to work with the adjacent back hall / coat room . Thus Decibel Designs sourced the unusual blue stone worktop and wallpaper to work with the colour scheme specified there, the herringbone joinery details (on the cupboard under the sink) match in both rooms and the towel radiator (just seen on the left) was commissioned in the same khaki finish so that nothing jarred.
This was a dull, cold and uninviting cloakroom sited off a utility room at the far end of the house. So we revamped it with an interesting wallpaper and little blind - simple alterations that made the space welcoming and usable.
Decibel Designs rationalised a series of little rooms which were on different levels at the back of this farmhouse to provide a larger space for taking off wellies, bringing in logs, and drying off dogs. This prevented the worst of the mud from going through into the rest of the house.
In this cloakroom, Decibel Designs commissioned a polished dark plum paint finish to make it feel warm. The existing basin and loo were retained, with a mixture of old tile samples being used for the splashback, an old marble fireplace slip repurposed (with the addition of brass brackets) as a shelf and the client's antique mirror.
