Project Summary:
The design process was driven by narrative and storytelling, rooted in Glasgow's tenement architecture and the client's affinity for colour and art. Challenges were turned into opportunities for innovation, with existing furniture reinvented and creative solutions implemented for spatial perception. Visual impact was curated through a warm colour palette inspired by Glasgow's heritage and the client's art collection. Functionality prioritised natural light and privacy, with bespoke storage solutions reflecting the tenement's character. Client satisfaction was achieved through tailored spaces for relaxation and entertainment. Sustainability was integrated through energy-efficient improvements and the repurposing of existing furniture, aligning with environmental goals.
