Project Summary:
Hollesley House, a 1930s property in Suffolk, underwent a significant transformation to incorporate modern living within its natural coastal surroundings. The redesign involved extensive remodelling to enhance spatial dynamics and views, focusing on sustainable and energy-efficient solutions like solar panels, underfloor heating, and a Tesla Powerwall. A contemporary style was adopted, with a clean, bright interior that leverages natural light and a neutral palette to accentuate key features. Strategic use of windows and doors optimises scenic views and indoor-outdoor integration. The project emphasised eco-conscious choices, using local materials and contractors to reduce environmental impact, complemented by advanced technologies like MVHR for improved energy efficiency.
