Project Summary:
The project aimed to create a modern yet characterful home, respecting existing Arts and Crafts architecture. Utilising light, warm neutrals with darker accents and pops of colour, the design integrated modern furnishings with traditional elements like bespoke wall panelling. Innovative use of existing structures, such as upgraded fireplaces and transformed kitchens, promoted sustainability and cost-effectiveness. The design also emphasised functionality with reconfigured layouts and bespoke joinery, enhancing practicality and aesthetics. Client satisfaction was high, commending the drama-free process and high-quality execution. Sustainability was a priority, with materials sourced responsibly and existing elements upgraded to reduce waste. The outcome was a well-balanced, functional, and visually appealing home that exceeded expectations while minimising environmental impact.
