Project name: Devonshire House, Location: Balham, London, Project type: Investment Project

The original brief was to design the interior of an extremely compact 1 bedroom new build apartment in Balham to maximise the space & aid its' sale.  Working alongside the Architect and Devleoper, Pascoe Interiors made amendments to the floor plan that resulted in a more efficient and logical interior layout, which increased the livable area and maximised light within the property.

After completion, when the unfurnished property struggled to sell; Pascoe Interiors was brought in to fully furnish and style the interior to suit a young, up and coming first or second time buyer.  The property sold for more than initially expected, within 1 week of being furnished.

    A spacious landing is often considered a luxury; designing one into a compact living space that would usually compromise the landing a little more living space gives a disproportionately positive impression to, & a much better flow within, the property.

  • Spacious shower using the eves for storage; shower under eaves; walk in shower; patterned floor tiles; clever bathroom storage

    Building into the eaves maximises interiors where full height head room is at a premium.
