Dulwich Home

In this project, having worked together previously, the clients were confident to allow free rein to create a home with trademark Sally Dernie paradoxes: to blend detail with simplicity, formality with informality, the reception of guests with the intimacy of private space.

The sitting room, dining room and library needed a complete review of function and decoration. Many bespoke elements were made by craftsmen, including the dining table, sideboard and library storage. Each room’s decorative scheme is a gorgeous blend of colour, pattern, contemporary, traditional and vintage styles carefully balanced to be cohesive.
