Requirement  

EMIA London was looking for a partner to manage its logistics and inventory. The company was also looking for a reliable partner that could not only store and manage its inventory but also assist with client installations.  

Solution  

Working closely with the company we have completed a number of two-phase projects involving a full pack, removal and unpacking service. We assist EMIA London with checking items, often arriving from suppliers, into storage and our expert packing team carefully fragile-wrap valuable bespoke items ensuring that they are completely protected. After client homes have been renovated and during the installation phase, we adhere to strict timelines to make sure that all items are delivered without delay.  

Due to the varying sizes of the interior pieces we help to transport we use a number of different vehicles from the Alexanders Commercial Fleet ranging from a 750 cubic feet Luton Van to 7.5 tonne small lorry. Our team helps to assemble bespoke furniture and takes photographs to document the completed installation where required. We also provide EMIA London with a specialist handy-man service to install artwork and hang heavy mirrors. After the client has signed off all items our team remove and dispose of all debris and packaging, recycling waste wherever possible.  

Outcome  

EMIA London has been working with Alexanders as their partner to manage their logistics and to assist with installations since 2014. Outsourcing this element of their business is not only cost effective but means they can concentrate on new business and servicing existing clients. 

 

As an Interior design company I needed the whole package – a company who dealt with receiving deliveries for my furniture, storing and checking items, right through to installation on site.
