Decorex International 2017

Decorex 2017 will take place from 17-20 September and celebrate 40 years of design collaborations, focusing both on the strength of its past and current relationships and importantly looking towards those future partnerships. Featuring more than 400 of the most recognised and emerging exhibitor’s world-wide, including rising numbers of new participants, this esteemed event is the only one of its kind for the high-end interiors market. 

The show’s 2017 edition will also include a number of notable feature spaces; Design Sense – four areas influenced by our senses of touch, smell, sight and sound. The Champagne bar will be designed by BIID member Shalini Misra and will be inspired by one of the most famous showcases of international invention in history, The Great Exhibition. BIID members Turner Pocock will welcome you with their holiday vibes and summer fun in the VIP Lounge.

Future Heritage returns: the acclaimed display of work by some of the leading emerging names in British craft. Curated by renowned design and applied arts critic, Corinne Julius, Future Heritage will feature new work exclusively commissioned for the show.

Decorex has announced their talks programme for this years event, with many BIID members featuring in seminar and panel discussions.

BIID Mentoring Roundtables

Following on from last year’s successful roundtables, the BIID are proud to present this year’s mentoring session at Decorex.

The roundtable session will take place on Tuesday 19th September at 4.30pm and will take an hour. Guests will have the opportunity to speak to all of the hosts, who will move tables every 15 minutes.
