Finding New Clients: The Big Debate

Event date

Finding new clients is one of the most fundamental challenges facing interior designers, particularly those at the beginning of their career. This evening event will feature a panel of experienced interior designers discussing their own approach to finding new clients, including successful and unsuccessful approaches they have tried and tested throughout their careers.

This is intended to be a very interactive event and attendees are encouraged to share their own experiences in finding clients.

About the panel:

Paul Goodchild (Chair)

Paul Goodchild is longstanding Member of the Institute and a Pathway assessor. He is the director of Goodchild Interiors, based in Bristol.

Susie Rumbold

Susie Rumbold is CPD Director of the BIID and Director of BIID Design Practice Tessuto which she founded in 1993.

Alan McVitty

Alan McVitty has had a career spanning all aspects of design and now runs his own practice, McVitty Interior Consultants, based in London.

Elizabeth Lane

Elizabeth Lane is the Director of Projects at RPW Design, coming from a background in hotel operations and FF&E procurement.
