Focus/20
Focus/20 at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour has been recalibrated to deliver the best in global design. It will provide a unique platform for 100+ international showrooms to present their new collections – but in a pioneering hybrid format that delivers a safe, inspiring physical experience to trade-only visitors, and an online programme to design enthusiasts worldwide.
Focus/20 kickstarts with a virtual launch on Sunday 13 September; note that no showrooms will be open on this day. From Monday 14 to Friday 18 September, tailored visits will be offered to trade professionals. They can see in person those elements that are vital to their schemes: those first looks of the latest colours, patterns and materials, alongside key details like scale, craftsmanship and artisan finishes, as well as fresh perspectives from house guests in the Design Avenue. Professional designers need to register and can make an appointment with the showrooms via a new booking facility, ensuring a productive visit.
The virtual programme with its exceptional line-up of international designers including Peter Marino, Rose Uniacke and Michael S Smith, alongside makers, experts and thought leaders, will strengthen the Design Centre’s mantra to connect, converse and create.
Focus/20 remains a design calendar highlight and encapsulates how design can continue to innovate and unite in a positive way.
