UK Construction Week 2017
UK Construction Week (UKCW) is back for its third edition, bringing together over 650 exhibitors and attracting more than 30,000 visitors to the NEC from 10-12 October.
Consisting of 9 shows, UK Construction Week caters for the entire spectrum of the industry from interior designers, builders, architects, innovators and consultants, each show provides exhibitors with the opportunity to network alongside decision makers and purchasers while showcasing their services and products.

The Surface & Materials Show is aimed specifically at interior designers, architects, and specifiers of design. A range of products will be on display from high performance products for large scale specification to elegant and high-impact feature designs. New this year is a dedicated kitchen & bathroom section. Visitors can investigate decorative and durable finishes, learn about kitchen design CAD services, or discover waterproof or hygiene critical solutions. Exhibitors taking part include The Decorative Panels Group, Minercell, Dural (UK) Ltd, Autokitchen, Finishes & Interiors Sector, Fibo, William Smith, and Toupret. Among the attractions are the Surface & Materials Hub, a pod system display from Estonian outfit Oodhouse and a FITA Flooring Workshop.
The Build Show, sponsored by Easy-trim, focuses on construction products and is aimed at all levels and all trades from corporate housebuilders to tradespeople and contractors. The range of products represented is divided in to four product zones, Health & Safety, Tools, Roofing & Insulation and Windows & Doors. Among its four separate seminar theatres is the Development & Innovation Hub looking at specific regional projects across the UK. The BRE is also actively involved hosting the BIM Prospects Theatre, looking in depth at Building Information Modelling from a number of different angles.
Timber Expo covers
multiple timber applications from timber frame through to cladding, not only
from the UK but an increasingly diverse international market. One of the
talking points is likely to be the creative installation by the students at the
Architectural Association's School of Architecture, in associated with TRADA
and sponsored by Hanson Plywood.
