Wool Floor Show 2017

Event date

Wool Floor Show London is a stunning showcase event held in the dramatically transformed space of Chelsea Football Club on 15th and 16th March 2017 from 10am to 5pm.  Hosting over 23 quality wool flooring exhibitors on one level and some stunning inspirational installations.

Carpet brands from Crucial Trading to Roger Oates, Jacaranda to Anta, Brintons to Axminster  and many more well known quality wool brands are on show.  The event has its own stunning Rug Gallery displaying entries from this year’s Wool Carpet & Rug Awards.

Inspiration for Design

Inspirational installations that show the latest trends in flooring will delight designers.  A new spin on the more tailored patterns emerging in flooring with the ‘Tailoring’ installation supported by Savile Row. Pinstripes, Herringbones and Houndstooth reflecting men’s suiting, these mix beautifully with plain colours.  For the more dapper, a flash of paisley or a vibrant stripe will allude to a patterned lining, vibrant choice of tie or colourful silk square for the top pocket.  Our second theme is ‘Geometry’ - the trend for bold patterns in strong colours reflects the mood for geometrics in interiors.  These designs are often inspired by traditional tiled floors and suit contemporary or more classic design schemes in either barely there shades or statement colours.

New Colour Trends from Jessica Light will also be on show - Jessica’s Talk is at the event on Thursday 16th March.

“Our aim is to enthuse with stunning visual content for our visitors and make a dynamic contribution to their visit to our show.  This event is all about wool in carpet and rugs and its unique quality, performance and creative style.”  Bridgette Kelly of the Campaign for Wool.
