AWW worked with the client to create an inspiring workplace incorporating architecture and interior design befitting an international FTSE top 25 company. The Imperial headquarters is the largest owner-occupied property to be constructed in the city of Bristol for more than six years offered an exciting opportunity to work with the client to create a unique and inspirational environment. A collaborative approach between the team and client led to a creative and fun approach to the breakout and collaboration spaces, clearly evident in the end result.

Achieving BREEAM Excellent was a key requirement. AWW sourced high efficacy LED lighting, providing a maintenance advantage with up to 50,000 hours of light achievable. AWW selected practical high-end furniture to complement key function areas such as the Tabac Café and executive floor, including boardroom and conference areas opening onto external terraces.

All outdoor spaces, including balconies, have Wi-Fi and ports to enable outdoor working, and telephone booths with acoustic damping, created specifically for the project, add a unique and fun element. The meeting rooms, with featured backlit fret-cut panels, have proved particularly successful and staff comment on how much they enjoy moving around their own office.
