Kensington Apartment (Grade II Listed)

We have recently completed the amalgamation of two properties into a single dwelling in Kensington. The original properties suffered from poor layouts and segmented living areas. The enlarged property provides generous open plan living and three bedrooms on the upper level.

Critical to the scheme is the capture and maximum use of natural light, particularly to the main internal stair which serves all floors. A large full width skylight sits above the stair core and allows daylight to reach all levels through the open stair treads and glazed balustrades. The vaulted roof line was accommodated to ensure all guest bedrooms were similar in size. All joinery was bespoke and designed to meet the clients requirements on concealed all air conditioning systems.
