Kitchen & Family Room - Weybridge, Surrey

Set within a beautiful private estate in Weybridge, Surrey, this light-filled, double-height kitchen and family room was completely redesigned by Marina Hughes Interiors as an integrated interior architecture and interior design scheme.

Working closely with the client and kitchen contractor, the studio developed the space planning, furniture layouts, bespoke joinery and lighting design, carefully coordinating the different elements of this substantial open-plan space to create a cohesive and highly functional family interior.

A feature freestanding fireplace creates a natural focal point, while oversized bespoke joinery was designed to provide both practical storage and architectural presence. Statement chandeliers respond to the impressive double-height proportions, complemented by layered lighting, luxurious furniture and a carefully considered FF&E scheme.

Large-format porcelain flooring was specified to complement the warm tones of the newly installed kitchen and visually connect the kitchen, dining and living areas.

The result is a sophisticated yet comfortable family space that demonstrates Marina Hughes Interiors' ability to combine technical design and detailed coordination with bespoke joinery, lighting, furniture and decoration, delivering a complete interior from concept through to the finished room.
