A full restructure and refurbishment of a 4 bedroom, 5th floor apartment in a prominent 1930s mansion block in Knightsbridge. The client wanted to create a contemporary family home that is designed for longevity, with hardwearing, easy to maintain surfaces and an aesthetic that wouldn’t date. The design introduces cutting-edge comfort whilst paying homage to the building’s art deco roots through bold outlines,  luxurious finishes and couture craftsmanship.

The client wanted a gentlemanly pallet that would also appeal to his expanding family. There was a specific requirement for no sharp edges or metal legs, as well as ample hidden storage for a clutter free home. We drew inspiration from a number of London’s grander public establishments and private clubs, to provide a scheme that merged the client’s love of boutique hotels and personal taste with his new surroundings.
