Gosling was commissioned to design an interior which had the feel of the lavish interiors of the SS Normandie, which was launched in 1935 as the largest and fastest passenger ship afloat. The Normandie design inspired the equally elegant interiors of Gosling’s London client's home. The wonderful chandelier was designed by inspirational designer Sharon Marston.
