We were contacted to provide services for our client, who had problems with an existing Crestron and Lutron system. The remit was to provide a fix for failing control systems, temperature control integration, and reprogramming the lighting system. The existing system did not work very well, became unrealiable and was unsupported by the previous integrator. We compiled a task list based on the client requirement:
-Provided an upgrade from Sky HD to Sky Q
-Provided Audio video Distribution for Sky Q, (x3) apple TV (x6) via an AV over IP solution to 8 rooms
-Reprogram the Lutron QS system installed, provide engravings and adjust lighting
-Rebuild the Main AV rack as the space and equipment was conjested and not serviceable easily for on-going maintenance
-Change the existing Barrisol lighting which was done with fluorescent tubes. replace this with warm white LED.
-Provide upgrades to Crestron control system via ipads and remote controls
-Change 4 of the existing TV's to 4K compatible TV's.
-Provide Airplay integration throughout the property
-Install CCTV system
-Electrical installation for replacement Comsumer board and testing
The project was completed over a period of 3 months, and we provided the design, project management, engineering and installation for the project. We reverse engineered the system and cabling to rooms in order to complete a Documentation pack for on-going support an maintenance.

Our reverse engineering process was put to the test, in order to map out what had been done previously by others. It was important to keep integrated systems up and running, from lighting to climate control and AV, and work neatly and discretely as the client was in residence for most of the time the works were going on.
