The Royal Opera House, London

In one of our proudest moments to date, Marmo applied 250m2 of our Pitted finish to the newly renovated foyer to the Lindbury theatre which can be accessed from Bow st. The areas are now open to the public and are certainly something special, great achievement!

The Pitted Polished Plaster finish has a rugged and rough texture to its appearance it can be applied with a matt effect or be lightly burnished with a steel trowel to give it a light sheen and further enhanced by colour washes and metallic waxes.

Stanton William's: London’s Royal Opera House (ROH) has been reinvigorated following a major transformation by Stanton Williams and a team of over 30 contractors to enhance the experience for the public, staff and performers. The result, launched September 2018, it is a physical manifestation of cultural change at the ROH through the realisation of its ‘Open Up’ project. This aims to enliven the Opera House throughout the day as a welcoming, multifaceted and inclusive cultural and social hub.
