Senior FF&E Interior Designer
Job Description
Sable Interiors is looking for a Senior FF&E Interior Designer with Vectorworks and Estimac proficiency to join and become an integral part of our small but dynamic and friendly long-established practice. Based at our extensive lifestyle showroom in Thames Ditton, Surrey.
Candidates should have proven and demonstrable experience managing the design and delivery of high-quality projects from concept through to completion. You should be professional, highly creative, passionate, organized, self-motivated, and have ability to work both independently and within a team.
Sable Interiors is a boutique practice working on a wide range of different styled projects covering all aspects of interior design, and with an interior architectural approach.

You will have a flair for FF&E for mid to high-end budgets, and be confident in dealing face-to-face with clients.
This is a full-time position, working five days a week at our studio and highly appointed Showroom in Thames Ditton.

Salary from £50K plus per annum.

Required Skills and experience:
• Strong knowledge of industry trends and excellent interiors specification knowledge including furniture, interior architecture, joinery and ideally Kitchen and Bathroom planning
• BA in interior design or related field
• Software: excellent skills in Vectorworks 2D and ideally 3D for RCP, GA’s, elevations and room plans and ideally 3D. EstiPC/ Estimac. SketchUp drawings for joinery designs as well as full rooms including panelling, windows and full interior architectural detailing – this is a key skill
• Demonstrable examples of technical drawings and specifications; ability to sketch is desirable
• Portfolio demonstrating a background in prime residential interior design with previous work experience in architectural/interior design practices
• At least five years experience in creating FF&E schemes and procurement
• Demonstrable experience in all stages of design projects, from concept to tender to construction and handover
• Excellent conceptual design and presentation skills and confident attending/presenting at client meetings
• Ability to work well under pressure, excellent attention to detail, produce accurate drawings, and have a high level of numeracy
• Ability to attend site visits and client meetings in Surrey and London
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills – fluent English; any additional language is appreciated
• Excellent Project and time management and organisational skills and commitment to meeting strict client deadlines with an ability to multi-task and prioritise work
• Ability to liaise directly with clients, external consultants and suppliers
