EDGE Eco Design Green Environment

Profile

A resource centre spread over 3 floors in Central London Marylebone, EDGE- Eco Design Green Environment, offers a continually evolving, design-led showcase of stimulating eco conscious materials, products, brands, collaborative workspace and on hand advice. Inspiring, connecting and supporting those who believe in making a positive change to the ways in which we design and construct our future built spaces.

EDGE Provides designers, architects, specifiers and other professionals as well as the public a unique resource center to find materials, products and finishes for their design projects.

We seek those that: consciously endeavour to choose raw materials based on provenance and quantity required, aim to reduce the energy needed and pollution created in the production and transportation of their materials, reuse resources and waste, create regenerative materials and utilise closed-loop production methods.

At a time when the debate surrounding humankinds impact on earth, its climate and the people who inhabit it continues to intensify, it is more important than ever that we have a responsible attitude to material specification. EDGE offers a new, exciting and innovative design destination at the forefront of the eco and sustainable design movement.

Inspiring, connecting and supporting those who believe in making a positive change to the ways in which we design and construct our built spaces.

Discourse and discussion are central to the space and we play host to open and inspiring talks, CPD’s, workshops and events to help enrich the debate and foster a legacy surrounding sustainability.
