Nicky Mudie

After 10 years in the industry, Founder & Director, Nicky Mudie, started Violet & George in 2009 out of a passion for exquisite textiles, meaningful, luxury interior design and an in depth knowledge of soft furnishings.

Nicky studied Textile Design at Art College followed by a degree in History of Art & Design at Leeds University. She then spent two years apprenticing Daniel Hopwood at his West London studio, followed by seven years as Head Designer at Godrich Interiors, whose studio she helped establish.

It includes made-to-measure tailoring and upholstery, paint and fabric advice, intelligent lighting solutions and unique decorative flourishes.
