Rupert Martineau

A strong interior designer/manager with over 20 years interior design experience, my skills range from interior conceptual design, bespoke FF&E design and procurement, all the way through to installation and styling and team management. I enjoy coordination and collaboration with other consultants, site inspection and ensuring contractors and specialist subs and artisans are carrying out the design to the highest level of quality.

Between 2012 and 2023 I led the private residential interiors team at SHH, working on super prime end user and development projects in London and internationally. These projects ranged from new build to Grade I listed refurbishments with contract sizes between £5m and £65m. 

In a wide ranging role communication is a key aspect of delivering the client's brief while working closely with specialist consultants. I constantly strive to ensure the client's high quality design expectations are met on time and on budget.  I have expertise in concept and design development, coordination and technical packages quality control, project cost analysis, design and resource programming and recruiting and managing staff to ensure the team works in a coherent, inclusive, efficient and enjoyable environment.
